Richards is the reigning U.S. Soccer Male Player of the Year for 2025 and the rock at the center of the American back line. The Birmingham native made history with Crystal Palace, anchoring the shutout in the 2025 FA Cup final win over Manchester City to become just the second American to win an FA Cup. He also scored twice at the 2025 Gold Cup, including a header in the final.
