Dest is the attack-minded full-back who became the first American to play for Barcelona in La Liga, and he started all four U.S. matches at the 2022 World Cup. Born in the Netherlands to a Surinamese-American father, he chose the USMNT over his boyhood Dutch dream and now anchors the flanks for PSV. Comfortable on either side and dangerous overlapping, he returns from a 2024 ACL injury determined to make this his tournament.
